James Eskel Forsman

Jimmy
January 17, 1940 - February 3, 1967

 

Jimmy was from Mantua, NJ and attended Pitman High School with the Class of 1959. He was drafted into the Army in 1963 and rose to the rank of Specialist 4.

 

In Long Binh Province, South Vietnam, a vehicle he was ridding in struck a land mine and Jimmy died from his injuries on February 3, 1967.

 

The "Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall" was in Pennsville, NJ and on September 26, 2019, Sharon and I along with Jane Morris Freas-Fogg went to see it. Here a a couple of pictures of the display.
