Forwarding Email Messages
Forwarding email is the best way to insure the pictures included in the message are sent with the message. Forwarding also is a pain as it means the recipient has to open multiple copies to get to the real message and many just hit delete when it comes to this. This does not have to happen.
When you want to forward an email you have received, click Forward as usual, and then, once you have entered those who are to receive your forward, do the following:
1. In the Subject line, highlight everything to the left of the original subject and press the delete key.
2. At the top of the email, highlight and delete everything above the original message. This includes all the headers from all the people that have forwarded this message before it got to your mailbox. If you go too far and delete some of the message, click Undo in the edit menu and try again. Starting the selection just above the message and proceeding upward can be the easiest way.
Now your email will look like an original and the recipients will appreciate your efforts.
There is also a handy little program to remove those pesky forward marks [ >> ]. Use this link to download the program. http://www.papercut.biz/emailStripper.htm A couple cut and paste operations and the marks are gone.
